Located at 96-40 Queens Blvd in Rego Park, NY, this spot offers a one-of-a-kind dining experience that brings together the best of both worlds-traditional Thai dishes and contemporary fusion options. The vibe is laid-back yet sophisticated, making it the perfect place for both a casual meal with friends and a more special dining experience.

The menu at Spring Thai Fusion & Bar is diverse and designed to cater to a variety of tastes. Whether you're a fan of the classic Pad Thai or looking to try something new, there's something for everyone. A standout is their unique take on Thai curry, blending familiar flavors with unexpected ingredients that keep the taste buds intrigued. For instance, the Thai Basil Chicken is served with a rich, flavorful sauce that complements the dish perfectly, and the aromatic spices are just the right level of heat.

But what truly sets this restaurant apart is its ability to marry traditional Thai flavors with a fusion flair. You’ll find dishes like the Spring Thai Fusion Burger, which combines tender chicken, flavorful herbs, and spices, all nestled in a soft bun. It’s a perfect blend of the street food vibes of Thailand with the convenience of a burger. The fusion aspect extends to the drink menu as well, with creative cocktails and mocktails that pair beautifully with the bold dishes. The Thai Iced Tea, for example, is a sweet and creamy drink that offers the perfect balance to the heat in the food.

The atmosphere at Spring Thai Fusion & Bar is welcoming, with a modern decor that still retains a touch of traditional Thai elements. The open kitchen allows you to see the chefs at work, creating a connection between the food and the experience. The service is top-notch, with staff who are friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to provide recommendations based on your preferences. It's clear they have a passion for the food they serve, and that makes all the difference when dining out.

One of the most impressive aspects of the restaurant is how they focus on fresh, high-quality ingredients. From the crisp vegetables to the perfectly cooked proteins, each dish is crafted with care. The kitchen takes great pride in using authentic Thai spices, herbs, and sauces, making sure that each bite stays true to the roots of Thai cooking. It's a blend of authenticity and innovation, and it’s clear that the chefs have a deep understanding of the cuisine.

If you're in the mood for something different, try their Thai Fusion Tacos. The combination of soft taco shells filled with Thai-style fillings is a fun twist on traditional Mexican fare, offering a delightful fusion of textures and flavors that are both comforting and exciting.

Beyond the food, the location at 96-40 Queens Blvd is conveniently situated for anyone in the Rego Park area or nearby neighborhoods. Whether you're grabbing a quick lunch or enjoying a leisurely dinner with friends, the restaurant’s location is perfect for a quick stop or a more drawn-out meal.

  • Came here for the first time on a Saturday afternoon and ordered off the lunch special menu. Each came with two spring rolls that were already drizzled with sauce. Personal preference but I wished the sauce came on the side instead as I didn’t love my spring rolls with that much sauce and would have loved to adjust it myself. My friend ordered the chicken pad Thai and I ordered the green curry with chicken, which came with rice. We both liked our food that we’d come back but I also thought the green curry had a lot of coconut flavor(more so than other green curry dishes from other Thai restaurants). They must have put a lot of coconut milk/cream but I like coconut so I didn’t mind it. Staff were welcoming, friendly, and the service was quick without being on top of you. The interior was clean and spacious and we didn’t have to wait for a table. Overall, for casual dining, we’d come back again!

  • This place is so awesome. I’ve never been to an Asian fusion spot. Everything I love is here! I had sushi and the most delicious Thai-iced tea. The spring rolls are excellent! The red curry was ok but my favorite was the pineapple fried rice.. super yummy! The service is so good!

  • Pretty good Thai fusion spot new to the neighborhood. I took my friend there couple of weeks ago to try it out. I’m not going to say it’s the best I’ve ever had, but it’s good to have more options in the area. We both liked our drinks. I’m glad my lychee Thai iced tea wasn’t milky like the normal Thai iced tea I’ve had before. I’m lactose intolerant and forgot to bring lactaid pills with me that day, so it was perfect for me. My friend got the milky looking matcha drink, forgot what it’s called on the menu, but she really liked it. The roti canai is my absolute favorite. I had tried it once as take out and it was still crispy by the time I walked it home. Tasted even better in the restaurant. The calamari had a cool presentation but was overdone in my opinion. My friend liked the flavor, but I didn’t like the rubbery texture. The crispy duck salad was too sweet for me. We ordered it thinking it’d be savory but it’s actually really sweet, from the pineapple to the sauce. Not something I would order again. If you like sweet dressings on your salad, it might be worth a try. The duck was nice and crispy, but didn’t have much flavor. The shrimp pad see ew and the tofu drunken noodles were decent. Had the right flavor but a bit on the salty side. For reference, I’m the kind of person who eats baked potatoes with a layer of salt on top, so for me to consider it salty, it’s pretty heavy on the salt. If you’re watching your blood pressure, see if they can make a low sodium version. Decor is new and the overall restaurant was fairly clean. A decent spot I would go back to again. There are still some things on the menu I wanted to try next time.

  • Amazing food and friendly professional team That’s not our first time here and every time when we are here we try different food… always so good! Today we tried Crispy Duck w Tamarind or Mango Sauce. ($26) (delicious crispy duck but too sweet sauce); Tom Yum Soup ($7) ( delicious spicy soup) ; Whole Red Snapper (with sweet sour sauce , but really good.) We definitely will come back! Thank you!

  • So happy to have found a new local place to grab Thai food. We love finding places that we can walk to and grab delicious food. The service was prompt and friendly. They were attentive without being too overbearing. We had the sushi pizza which is a B+. Pretty decent but I wouldn't be going there for that. We're torn between the panang curry and the Malaysian curry noodle soup. They are both so good and will definitely be a repeat order. We are also interested in trying out there other curries and their Hainanese chicken. They also have Pho on the menu, which I might be curious about. Overall, a great experience that ensures I'll be coming back for more.
